Keep the Faith | Christian Movie Trailer "The Exchange: Account of an Interrogation"

Introduction

Jiang Xinyi is a regional leader of The Church of Almighty God in a particular area in China. She loves the truth and has a sense of righteousness. She has received Almighty God's work of the last days for more than ten years. She understands that only Christ is the truth, the way and the life and that only Christ of the last days, Almighty God can save mankind, free them from sin and guide them onto the right path of human life. As a result, she follows God steadfastly, spreads the gospel and bears witness to God. However, the Chinese Communist government persistently captures and persecutes Christians. Jiang Xinyi and a few co-workers had been monitored and followed by the CCP police for three months. At one of the gatherings, the police captured them. In order to seize the church's financial resources and capture more church leaders, the Chinese Communist government brutally tortured Jiang Xinyi and the others. Their goal was to capture all Christians from the local Church of Almighty God in one fell swoop.

Prof. Massimo Introvigne, a well-known Italian scholar of new religious movements and managing director of CESNUR (Center for Studies on New Religions), made a presentation in the event.

“When you forsake the flesh, inevitably there will be a battle inside. Satan wants you to follow the notions of the flesh, to protect the interests of the flesh. However, God’s word still enlightens and illuminates you within, moves you from within and works from the inside. At this point, it is up to you whether you follow God, or Satan. Every time truth is practiced and every time people practice loving God, there is an enormous battle. When you practice the truth, deep inside there is a battle of life and death. Victory will only be determined after fierce fighting. How many tears of sadness have been shed” (“Every Time You Forsake the Flesh There Is a Battle of Life and Death” in Follow the Lamb and Sing New Songs). Every time I used to hear God’s words in this song, I would ponder the following: Is practicing the truth really that difficult? When people don’t understand the truth, they cannot practice it. Once they have understood it, wouldn’t acting according to God’s will be enough? Could it really be as serious as “deep inside there is a battle of life and death”?

    On March 24, 2018, a Volunteer event organized by Retake Roma (a volunteer organization) took place in Rome, Italy’s Bellini Middle School. A notable part of this event was the appearance of Chinese Christians from The Church of Almighty God. They worked alongside Retake Roma volunteers, students, and parents to beautify the campus, making a joint effort to create a wonderful learning environment for students as well as more space for activities.
