Almighty God says, "I have held man to a very strict standard all along. If your loyalty comes with intentions and conditions, then I would rather not have any of your so-called loyalty, for I abhor those who deceive Me through their intentions and extort Me with conditions. I only wish for man to be loyal to none other than Me, and to do all things for the sake of and to prove that one word: faith. I despise your use of sweetened words to make Me rejoice. For I always treat you with complete sincerity and so I wish for you to also act toward Me with a true faith.
Like many religious people with faith in the Lord, Elder Li has always felt that "everything in the Bible was inspired by God," "the Bible is the word of God," and "the Bible represents God." These conceptions had long formed the basis for his faith. They had taken root in his heart and had become both an obstacle to his studying the true way as well as bonds that prevented him from accepting the true way. As preachers of the Church of Almighty God patiently read to Elder Li about God's word and fellowshiped with him about the truth, he finally understood that not all of the Bible was inspired by God, but it contains the words of God and the words of man. Elder Li was now free from the bonds and shackles of these religious conceptions.
Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering, and did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to take on the sins of man as the sin offering, but also required God to do greater work to completely rid man of his disposition, which has been corrupted by Satan. And so, after man was forgiven his sins, God has returned to flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgment, and this work has brought man into a higher realm. All those who submit under His dominion shall enjoy higher truth and receive greater blessings. They shall truly live in the light, and shall gain the truth, the way, and the life.
Her name is Xiao Li. She has believed in God for more than a decade. In the winter of 2012, she was arrested by the Chinese Communist police at a congregation. During interrogation, the police repeatedly coaxed, threatened, battered and tortured her in their attempts to seduce her to betray God by disclosing the whereabouts of the leaders and money of the church. Particularly in one frozen night when the temperature was twenty degrees below zero, she was forcibly stripped naked, drenched with icy water, electrically shocked on her genital, and force-fed mustard water by the police…. She had suffered brutal torture and unimaginable humiliation.
Most people throughout the entire religious world believe that those who are most able to explain the Bible are people who know God, and that if they can also interpret the Bible's mysteries and explain prophecies, then they are people who conform to God's will, and they exalt and bear witness to God. Many people, therefore, have a blind faith in this kind of person and they worship them. So do pastors and elders' explanations of the Bible really exalt and bear witness to God? Almighty God says, "Those who read the Bible in grand churches recite the Bible every day, yet not one understands the purpose of God’s work.
Yu Congguang is a gospel preacher from the Church of Almighty God. Because he was pursued by the CCP government while preaching the gospel, he fled to the mountain and got help from Zheng Xun, a co-worker of the local house church. Both of them felt like old friends at the first meeting. Zheng Xun took Yu Congguang to the thatched shack where he and his co-workers attended meetings. There, Zheng Xun’s co-workers had a debate on whether a believer in God should obey those in power, and Yu Congguang gave fellowship in light of this issue and dispelled their puzzlement. That fellowship benefited them all a lot and they started to seek and study Almighty God’s work of the last days. However, when Elder Sun of the local church learned that Yu Congguang was a preacher from the Church of Almighty God, he tried every possible means to seal off the church, preventing the believers from looking into the true way. He went door-to-door searching for Yu Congguang and even incited the believers to call the police and to put him in jail. …
In the face of the hunting and persecution from the CCP government and Elder Sun, Yu Congguang earnestly prayed to and relied on God, resolving to bring to God those in the local house church who truly believed in God and who sought and studied the true way. After several setbacks, Yu Congguang, Zheng Xun and others had no choice but to gather together among the reeds, in the basement, or in the cave for fellowship about Almighty God’s word. … Because Zheng Xun and several others investigated the Eastern Lightning, Elder Sun regarded them as foes, and the church split up into two groups. Faced with this situation, Zheng Xun and his co-workers felt pain and confusion. Yu Congguang fellowshiped with them about the words of Almighty God directing at their puzzlement, and he also expounded on what is faith in God and what kind of faith will be approved by God. At last, Zheng Xun and the others understood the truth, and their puzzlement, difficulties, and deviations in their belief in the Lord were resolved. All of them got liberated in their heart, and sighed that after years of belief, they finally realized the true meaning of faith in God. …
From heaven to the earth, hiding in the flesh. Working among men, through winds and rains. Taking a rough path, open a new age. To redeem mankind, lay down Your life and shed blood. Wind and rain, so many years. Forsaken by every man. Humble and hidden, enduring all along. Humble and hidden, enduring all along.

Sacrifice for Your will; this is my wish. Though flesh's in trials, stronger is my will. Love You more intensely; bitterness most sweet. Eyes blurred by tears, but my life is so bright. Broken and smashed time after time, care about Your will even more. Faithful till death, through thick and thin. Faithful till death, thick and thin.

Going through pains, tasting hardships. Chastened and disciplined, reviving from death. Under Your care again, adore You all the more. Thinking of the past, great regrets in my heart. Broken and smashed time after time, care about Your will even more. Faithful till death, through thick and thin. Faithful till death, thick and thin.

Heavy burden on, hesitate no more. Small stature as mine; thanks to Your love, my journey till today, experienced Your great love. Bitter and sweet, happiness with sorrows. Broken and smashed time after time, care about Your will even more. Faithful till death, through thick and thin. Faithful till death, thick and thin.

Bestow Your mercy, pity my weakness. Unleash Your anger, curse my disobedience. Abundantly merciful, profoundly wrathful. Seen Your majesty, experienced Your wisdom. Broken and smashed time after time, care about Your will even more. Faithful till death, through thick and thin. Faithful till death, thick and thin.

Live in Your love, offer myself up. Painful refining, all You predestined. To be perfected, fulfill Your commission, and satisfy Your heart; it's the life of mine. Sweets and bitters, I've tasted much. Hardships fill in my life. Suffering or bitterness, I won't complain. I won't complain till my life's end.
